The client’s desire was to transform the space into a contemporary, clean, and elegant space. This apartment was of very traditional design, with deep crown molding and paneled wainscoting. The flow between spaces was opened up and made more efficient. Careful selection of minimal lighting fixtures made the spaces light-filled while not being visually cluttered. The latest technologies were introduced such as mechanical shading system, a fully integrated AV system, and an integrated light-dimming system. Design highlights include an art gallery at the main entrance, and a sixteen-foot embedded fireplace wall.
