This house started with the clients’ need for improved natural lighting and a more contemporary design for their home. The challenge was to provide this contemporary design while working within the strict design guidelines set by the local homeowners association. These modifications included completely renovating the first floor, and adding a second floor addition. The new design has a double-height Great Room with an upstairs Family Room loft. The kitchen is the heart of the house with custom cabinets and wood paneling. The Master Bedroom Suite has a balcony that looks to the backyard and the Master Bathroom has a European style wet room.
